Obtaining a Dubai Visa just got easier. Cox and Kings Global Services (CKGS), a 100 per cent subsidiary of Cox and Kings Ltd, has tied up with DNATA, part of the Emirates Group to form C&K Marhaba Dubai Visa (CNKMDV) to provide visa processing services to travelers flying all airlines except Emirates Airlines to Dubai/Sharjah & UAE and to promote and sell Marhaba Meet & Greet Services in India for passengers arriving, departing and transiting through Dubai International Airport.
According to Sanjay Bhaduri, "this facility will enable large number of Indians travelling to Dubai with a smoother and seamless experience. All they have to do is visit our offices or go online on www.cnkmdv.com
and apply for the same."
CNKMDV has set up offices in 11 cities across India with its headquarters based in Mumbai. The centres include Delhi, Amritsar, Jaipur, Kolkatta, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
This facility will help eliminate the time-consuming process of coordinating with the hotel and local sponsor in Dubai. Through CNKMDV, travelers can apply online and obtain the visa in three working days. However, the decision to grant visa is the sole prerogative of DNRD also known as Dubai Immigration/ Government of Dubai..
CNKMDV will process two types of visas—tourist and transit visas. Tourist visas are valid for a maximum period of 30 days after entry and will cost Rs 4,550, whereas the 96-hour-visa (transit visa), will cost Rs 3550.
CNKMDV will also offer Marhaba Services to its customers. 'Marhaba' which means 'welcome' in Arabic reflects the warmth and hospitality of the Arab culture. Marhaba offers Meet and Greet near the aircraft, buggy service, personal escorts through passport control, assistance at the conveyor belt, porterage, customs and hand over at the pick up point. It also provides exclusive departure and transit services through security, transfer desk with Marhaba lounge service along with Buggy car assistance. CNKMDV will make this friendly hospitality service available to customers for an effortless and convenient travel experience.
Bhaduri adds, "this service will be beneficial to business travelers, senior citizens, single parents with children, unaccompanied minors, first time travelers, group travelers and transit passengers. We plan to process about One lakh visas and sell the same number of Marhaba Services in the first year of operations."
